The 2017 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Spotlight performance winner is no stranger to the stage and has been performing in front of audiences for as long as she can remember. As early as eight years old, she was the youngest ever to perform both Canadian and American National Anthems at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto for an NHL game.

As a former, leading member of the 6-time MusicNL award-winning and ECMA nominated Celtic family group “The Cormiers”, Mallory has recorded multiple albums and has toured Canada, the US, and Scotland.

Adding to her talents, Mallory has also been very busy in musical theatre. She’s performed with The Spirit of Newfoundland, Theatre St. John’s, Peter MacDonald Productions, Best Kind Productions, TaDa Events, and many others. Some past credits include: Grease (Frenchy), Hairspray (Amber), SpiritNL’s Grinch Dressing & Gravy (Cindy-Lou), [title of show] (Heidi), Chicago (Murderess June), Fame (Serena), and Smoky Mountain Songbird; The Music of Dolly Parton (Dolly Parton).

Since her first trip to Nashville to record her debut EP, produced by Kershaw, Mallory has been turning heads in the country music scene and songwriting community, sharing stages with artists like Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Rascal Flatts, and Blake Shelton to name a few. Her debut single “Tupelo” reached #6 on the Canadian Country iTunes Top Songs list and found a home on GAC and CMT.com. Her following single “Good Mistake to Make” broke the top 50 on the Music Row Chart and top 30 on the CDX Breakout Chart. In May of 2018, Mallory released her EP, which earned her a 2019 ECMA for Country Recording of the Year, and three 2018 MusicNL nominations for Female Artist of the Year, Country Artist of the Year, and Rising Star.

Even though most of the songs on her debut project were penned by other writers, Mallory’s writing certainly hasn’t taken a back seat. She was recently invited to showcase new music at the 2018 CCMA Songwriter Series and the 2018 MusicNL Songwriter Circle, as well as received an Honorable Mention during the 19th Annual NSAI Song Contest. She is also currently working on a film project. Following an audition for the war thriller “Into the Wilderness”, Mallory was not only offered a role in the movie, but asked to write music for the soundtrack.
