Description
Simply put, Anita and Sandy are legends in our province’s music history. Their combined contribution to our culture is paramount in its significance. Anita as an educator, archivist, folklorist, broadcaster and singer of traditional songs has been catalystic in promoting Newfoundland And Labrador songs, their origins and their essence. Sandy Morris has played an immeasurable role as a musician, producer, engineer and contributor to countless radio, T.V and film projects dating back to the 1960’s. Sandy was also, of course, a founding member of The Wonderful Grand Band.
This 16 song collection includes 3 Ron Hynes (Connie Hynes) songs, 3 French songs and a cast of stellar Newfoundland musicians.
